Open Mic Night Puts the FUN back in FUNdraising!The first official fundraiser for The Iowa Clinic Healthcare Foundation was an overwhelming success. On Saturday, October 29, 2004 more than 500 people gathered at the Val Air Ballroom for Open Mic Night. Guests were able to bid on 100 silent auction gift baskets, eat a delicious meal catered by Christiani’s, and share in a few laughs as Iowa Clinic employees and physicians took to the stage to participate in Open Mic Night. Local comedian Willie Farrell hosted the festivities. We are very pleased to announce that the event raised $58,000 through corporate sponsorships, raffle ticket sales, and the live and silent auctions.  |
