Can diet soda be sabotaging your diet? Granted diet soda is low calorie and fat-free but it is also 100 percent nutrition-free. Realize it is just as important to actively drink the good stuff as it is to avoid the bad stuff. Guzzling these drinks all day long forces out the healthy beverages you need. While one diet soda a day may be fine, if you are downing five or six cans, that means you are limiting your intake of healthful beverages, particularly water and tea.
