The physicians and surgeons of The Iowa Clinic Obstetrics & Gynecology Department specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of women's health issues. Services provided include general physical exams including pap tests, obstetrical care, infertility and endocrinology problems, surgical procedures relating to the female reproductive system, urinary incontinence diagnosis and treatment, family planning and counseling in methods of birth control, and diagnosis and treatment of abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, infections of the female organs, cancer of the female organs, and abnormal pap smears evaluated by colposcopy.
