Body Cosmetic Procedures

Improving the appearance of your body through cosmetic surgery can mean many things — body contouring to remove excess skin after weight loss, liposuction to remove fat, lifts to tighten up sagging areas or spider vein removal. Each procedure has its benefits and can have dramatic effects on your appearance as well as your self-image.

Body Contouring

Body contouring helps with skin removal after you’ve lost a major amount of weight. The surgery improves the shape and tone of the underlying tissue and removes excess fat and skin in your arms, breasts, buttocks, thighs or tummy.

Arm Lift

Weight fluctuations and aging can cause the undersides of your upper arms to droop or sag. Exercise can tone the underlying muscle but cannot change the appearance of the excess skin. An arm lift, or brachioplasty, reshapes your upper arm from the armpit to the elbow by removing excess fat and skin and contouring your arm for a better tone and shape.

Breast Lift

Your breasts lose their shape and firmness over time, due to aging, pregnancy, breastfeeding, gravity and weight changes. A breast lift raises and firms up your breasts, removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to restore your breast shape.

Buttock Lift

A buttock lift improves the shape and tone of the tissue that supports the skin and fat on your behind. A variety of factors can cause your buttocks to sag, including aging, pregnancy, genetics, sun damage and weight gains and loss. A buttock lift smooths out the tissue to enhance the appearance and remove excess skin or fit.

Thigh Lift

Reshaping the thighs by reducing extra fat and skin creates a smoother, more toned leg. A thigh lift can bring back the firmness and youthful appearance of your thighs when weight loss and exercise are unsuccessful at changing the look of that area.

Tummy Tuck

Tummy tuck is the common term for abdominoplasty, a cosmetic procedure to remove the excess fat and skin from your midsection. Pregnancy, weight changes, genetics, previous surgeries and aging can alter the appearance of your abdomen and skin. A tummy tuck removes the excess fat and skin while restoring weakened or separated ab muscles to give you a firmer, smoother stomach.

Liposuction

Liposuction is a fat reduction surgery that reshapes specific areas of your body to achieve your desired shape or appearance. Liposuction can be done on many parts of your body, including the legs, hips, buttocks, waist, upper arms, face, back and neck. It can be performed along with other cosmetic procedures like facelifts, tummy tucks and breast reductions.

Spider Vein Removal

Spider veins are the small, unsightly veins that appear close to the surface of your skin. They are not essential to your veinous system and can be removed if it affects your appearance. Most spider veins are removed using sclerotherapy, which uses injections that cause the vein walls to collapse. Laser treatments are used to remove finer spider veins that are hard to resolve with injections.
