Injectables
Face wrinkles, creases and lines can show the signs of aging well before you reach old age. Face injections and fillers are temporary, non-invasive procedures that rejuvenate your skin and restore volume loss. These face injectables reduce and eliminate wrinkles, enhance the appearance of scars, plump lips and replace lost soft tissue volume. All injections are given by trained dermatology staff, certified registered nurse, a board-eligible plastic surgeon or a board-certified plastic surgeon.
Wrinkle Injections
BOTOX® and other wrinkle injections reduce the activity of muscles in your face that cause wrinkles. They temporarily paralyze, or freeze, the muscles that control your facial expressions to soften or remove common wrinkles like forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet.
BOTOX is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures. A purified form of botulinum toxin is injected into your wrinkles to block the nerve signals and limit muscle activity. BOTOX is a temporary solution to reduce or remove moderate to severe wrinkles caused by muscle movements.
Dysport is a facial injection specifically for the frown lines between your eyebrows. It minimizes the wrinkles on your forehead without freezing the facial muscles on the rest of your face. Results take effect two to three days after treatment and last up to four months.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are facial injections that can do more than reduce wrinkles. Instead of targeting the nerves, they inject collagen into your problem areas to stimulate collagen growth and restore volume and fullness to your face. Dermal fillers are used to:
- Plump thin lips.
- Enhance shallow contours.
- Soften facial creases.
- Improve the appearance of recessed scars.
- Remove wrinkles.
Face Fillers
Face fillers smooth out the shallow lines and fill in deep wrinkles, giving your face a more youthful appearance. Fillers are often used under the eyes, on the cheeks and around the mouth. We use a variety of dermal fillers to target specific areas of your face. Discuss with your nurse what product might work best for you!
Lip Fillers
Lip injections are dermal fillers designed to add fullness to your lips to create a plumper look. JUVÉDERM Ultra XC is a lip augmentation treatment for naturally thin lips or lips that have thinned over time. Ask your nurse injector what product(s) are right for you!
