We understand that hand surgery is a highly individualized procedure and promise to listen to your needs as we evaluate and manage your care. Our surgeon will first evaluate the patient and discuss possible options. While surgery is normally a last resort, surgery can treat diseases that cause pain and impair the strength, function and flexibility of your wrist and fingers. Our goal is to restore the use of your hand, wrist and forearm to the greatest degree possible. Some conditions require relatively minor procedures while others may demand a more complex reconstruction or treatment plan.

Dr. Timothy Schurman has more than 20 years of combined experience treating problems of the hand. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, meaning he underwent at least six years of surgical training, with three years in plastic surgery.
