About Ian Koch, DO
Ian Koch, DO chose The Iowa Clinic for its patient experience, with the focus on a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. As a radiologist, Dr. Koch can work in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment where often he can make a difficult or elusive diagnosis, that might otherwise have gone undetected. Improving patient outcomes and quality of life, as well as making a significant impact on a patient’s care, is what he finds most rewarding.
He and his wife Brooke, who happens to be his high school sweetheart, and son Jackson, are excited to be back in the community they call home. As a West Des Moines native, being close to family and friends is important to them.
Outside of work, he enjoys golfing (if not a physician he would love to be a professional golfer), fitness, cooking, movies, traveling, and anything Iowa Hawkeyes.
