About Clayton Jordan, DO
Clayton Jordan, DO joined The Iowa Clinic after rotating here as a medical student and being impressed by the great group of physicians and the quality of care The Iowa Clinic provides. He loves the patient-centered focus of the clinic and how it is a convenient, one-stop shop for patients with primary care and specialty healthcare needs.
His interest in Gastroenterology began before medical school when he worked as an endoscopy technician. He has always been fascinated with the digestive tract and likes that this specialty is a mix of inpatient consults, outpatient clinic and procedures. The most rewarding part of his job is being able to help patients feel better, improve their quality of life and restore their health.
When he’s not working, Dr. Jordan enjoys being active outdoors, traveling, and trying new foods. He is passionate about bringing care to those in greatest need and has done non-profit medical work in Honduras, Rwanda and South Africa. He hopes to continue this work in the future.
