About Daffney Arnold, DO
Daffney Arnold, DO joined The Iowa Clinic Urbandale Family Medicine department after experiencing its collaborative and welcoming environment as a medical student. After exploring multiple specialties during medical school, Dr. Arnold found that family medicine offered the perfect blend of caring for patients of all ages and building lasting relationships through continuity of care. Dr. Arnold finds it most rewarding to get to know her patients as people, partnering with them to achieve their health goals.
Originally from a small town in Illinois, she has called the Des Moines area home since 2017 and looks forward to caring for the people of central Iowa. Outside of medicine, she enjoys scrapbooking, reading, volunteering with her church, playing videos games, and spending time with loved ones – including her cats and chinchilla. If she weren’t a physician, Dr. Arnold could see herself as a home decorator.
