About Elise Owens, DNP
Elise Owens, DNP, joined The Iowa Clinic Altoona Family Medicine department in 2025 with a deep connection to the Clinic and the community she calls home. Having worked as a registered nurse for six years, including three years at TIC, Elise knew early on she wanted to grow her career within an organization that prioritizes exceptional patient care. She chose family medicine because of her passion for building long-term relationships with patients of all ages and finds it most rewarding to support them through every stage of life — serving as someone they can trust in both health and hardship.
A native of the Altoona area, Elise is excited to serve patients in the community where she grew up. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
