About Hannah Howe, DO
Dr. Hannah Howe is an internal medicine physician who joined The Iowa Clinic because of its strong sense of community, collaborative environment and shared commitment to excellent patient care.
Dr. Howe chose internal medicine because she values building long-term relationships with patients and caring for them throughout adulthood. She enjoys managing chronic conditions and developing care plans that align with each patient's values and goals. Her patient care philosophy combines evidence-based medicine with patient-centered care, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health. She finds it especially rewarding to make a difference in patients' quality of life and help them live as happily and healthfully as possible.
Dr. Howe has experience in medical education and mentorship, including teaching ultrasound techniques to fellow medical students and facilitating a stress management program. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through fitness classes and running, traveling, reading and trying new restaurants.
