About Kartik Anand, MD
Kartik Anand, MD is a dedicated hematology and oncology specialist who joined The Iowa Clinic in 2025. He chose The Iowa Clinic for its patient-centered philosophy and the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists under one roof to provide comprehensive cancer care. He was inspired to pursue hematology oncology after his grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer during Dr. Anand’s high school years, motivating him to guide patients and their families through challenging times with hope and expert medical care.
Dr. Anand has been recognized with numerous academic awards, including the Merit Award twice from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Outstanding Scholar and Clinician Award, and the Excellence in Research Award from Houston Methodist Hospital.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Anand enjoys spending time with his wife and twin boys.
