About Kate Asprey, PA-C
Kate Asprey, PA-C, joined The Iowa Clinic Vascular Surgery department in 2025, drawn to the Clinic’s outstanding reputation and commitment to high-quality, collaborative care across specialties. She chose vascular surgery because it allows her to make a direct impact on patients’ quality of life while building long-term relationships, all while remaining in a surgery-adjacent field she truly enjoys. For Kate, the most rewarding part of her role is earning patients’ trust and seeing the positive effects her care has on their daily lives.
A native of Eldora, Iowa, she is excited to care for the people of central Iowa. Outside of work, Kate enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with their two mini golden doodles, cooking, reviewing books, and gardening. If she weren’t a provider, she could see herself as a travel blogger or a food critic.
