About Kayla Duff, PA-C
Kayla Duff, PA-C joined The Iowa Clinic Hematology Oncology department in 2026, bringing a strong clinical foundation and a deep commitment to patient-centered oncology care. As a former emergency department clinician, she worked closely with Iowa Clinic physicians and was drawn to their dedication to doing what’s best for every individual they serve. During her training, she discovered a passion for oncology, inspired by the meaningful relationships built between providers and those in their care. With several family members impacted by cancer, Kayla understands the personal weight of a diagnosis and feels honored to support individuals and families throughout their journey.
Kayla values shared decision-making and prioritizes education, ensuring each person understands their care plan and feels supported every step of the way. She believes there’s nothing more rewarding than improving someone’s quality of life so they can continue doing what they love with the people who matter most.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time outdoors with her partner, exploring national parks, practicing yoga, walking around Gray’s Lake, and getting lost in a good book.
