Kayla Promes, ARNP joined The Iowa Clinic Hematology Oncology department with a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered cancer care. Since beginning her career, she has dedicated herself to oncology, working as a nurse in renowned institutions such as Standford, Cedars-Sinai, and Georgetown. She chose The Iowa Clinic for its seamless collaboration across specialties, ensuring patients receive comprehensive, well-coordinated treatment.
For Kayla, the most rewarding part of her job is building meaningful connections with her patients and their families. She considers it a privilege to support them through life’s most challenging moments, offering guidance, comfort, and care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends or getting lost in a good book.
