About Raquel Oldenburger, DO
Dr. Raquel Oldenburger is a Family Medicine physician who joined The Iowa Clinic after working alongside many of its physicians during her residency. She was drawn to the organization's collaborative culture, commitment to innovation, and focus on delivering exceptional, evidence-based patient care.
Dr. Oldenburger chose family medicine because she enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds through every stage of life. Her patient care philosophy is rooted in lifelong learning and understanding each patient as a whole person, recognizing their lifestyle, beliefs, and unique circumstances to provide personalized care.
Dr. Oldenburger earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and Master of Healthcare Administration from Des Moines University after completing her undergraduate studies at Grand View University. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Broadlawns Medical Center, where she cared for patients across the full spectrum of family medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Oldenburger enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and tackling landscaping and DIY projects. She's also a self-proclaimed escape room enthusiast and proudly belongs to the "left-handed club."
