About Sam Curtis, PT
Sam Curtis, PT joined The Iowa Clinic Physical Therapy department in 2025 with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. He chose The Iowa Clinic because he’s always considered it the gold standard for healthcare in the Des Moines metro, and after personally experiencing its exceptional service and provider expertise, joining the team felt like a natural fit. Sam’s interest in physical therapy began in high school after experiencing minor injuries through sports. He was fascinated by how the body heals through movement and decided to turn that curiosity into a career. For Sam, the most rewarding part of his job is helping people return to their daily lives without pain.
Originally from Algona, Iowa, Sam looks forward to providing care to the people of central Iowa. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, DIY home projects, being active outdoors, spending time with family, and cheering on the Hawkeyes and Vikings.
