About Taylor Patterson, ARNP
Taylor Patterson, ARNP joined The Iowa Clinic Internal Medicine department in 2025, drawn to the Clinic’s reputation for teamwork and its emphasis on integrated, patient-centered care. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Taylor spent nearly five years as a registered nurse, gaining broad experience across specialties including Med/Tele, Med/Surg, Kidney Transplant, Orthopaedics, and even middle school nursing. She chose internal medicine for the opportunity to form lasting relationships with patients and guide them through both acute and chronic health concerns. Taylor values working closely with patients and their families, ensuring they feel informed and supported through every step of their care — celebrating milestones and navigating challenges together.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys reading, swimming, building Legos, playing games, tackling house projects, and spending time with her husband and their French Bulldog. If she weren’t a healthcare provider, she might have been a stewardess on a yacht, inspired by her love for adventure and favorite show, Below Deck.
