An ultrasound, or sonogram, produces images of soft tissue and organs in the body through the use of soundwaves. It can be used by your care team to detect a wide variety of conditions. Obstetric ultrasounds are offered at our Women's Center.

An X-ray uses electromagnetic waves to create a static image of the inside of your body. Fluoroscopy uses X-ray technology to capture a moving video image of these same structures. Both can give your care team a detailed view of internal systems.
