About Nick Rains, PA-C
Nick Rains, PA-C was drawn to The Iowa Clinic for its commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care and the strong sense of teamwork he experienced firsthand. Nick chose urgent care because it brings together the full breadth of his clinical background – including orthopaedics, family medicine, and allergy and immunology – as well as his early experience as an athletic trainer. He strives to deliver efficient, evidence-based care while ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and informed – even in a fast-paced environment.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
