About Quentin Adams, MD
Dr. Quentin Adams is a radiation oncologist who joined The Iowa Clinic due to its collaborative environment, and to bring radiation therapy services directly to Iowa Clinic patients.
Dr. Adams chose radiation oncology because it combines precision science, cutting-edge technology, deep collaboration and meaningful patient impact. His patient care philosophy is simple: as your doctor, he works for you. He believes in providing patients with the best treatment option and supporting them with the resources and guidance they need.
Dr. Adams brings a varied background in radiation oncology, including experience in rural medicine, academic medicine and a busy private practice in a large urban setting. He has received numerous honors for his research and clinical work, including the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award and two Patient's Choice Awards.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, their daughter, Poppy, two dogs and two cats. He also enjoys tennis, basketball, building RC airplanes, playing piano and participating in adult recreational league sports with friends.
