Why a med-peds physician for complex childhood conditions?

Conditions like cystic fibrosis, heart disease and pediatric cancers require lots of care coordination, not just in childhood, but through the teenage years and into adulthood as well. Med-peds physicians are board-certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, so they are able to follow your child’s care and help coordinate the management of these complex health conditions — for life. Your family’s Iowa Clinic team is always here for you.
