About Timothy Van Dyke, MD

Timothy Van Dyke, MD joined The Iowa Clinic in 2021 after completing his Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. He chose trauma because he enjoys a challenge, dealing with the urgency of situations and helping to save lives. Nothing is more rewarding to him than that.

Originally from Northwest Iowa, he is excited to be moving closer to home. When he’s not at work, you’ll find Dr. Van Dyke enjoying the outdoors with his family and camping, fishing or skiing. If he were not a physician, he may have become an engineer.
