About Douglas Gorney, ARNP
Douglas Gorney, ARNP joined The Iowa Clinic Cardiology department because he admired the business model, history, and community participation found at TIC. After working with open heart patients for almost two decades, Doug still finds working with heart patients drives his interest in the healthcare environment. Interacting with patients and their families continues to provide him a rewarding career.
Born and raised in Iowa, Doug spends his free time with family, road biking, rock hounding, sailing, camping, fishing, and has a passion for aviation. If he was not a provider, he would circumnavigate the words oceans on a sailboat.
