About Jacob Murray, DO
Jacob Murray, DO joined The Iowa Clinic to be a part of a collaborative community that allows him to deliver continually advancing care for our patients. For Dr. Murray, practicing medicine and Rheumatology has allowed him to appreciate the unique lives of individuals with rheumatic diseases. Rheumatology exemplifies the art and science of diagnostic reasoning, which he deeply values, along with the opportunities to partner with patients in their care. Helping patients with rheumatic diseases find confidence in living with their disease in a manageable way is something Dr. Murray finds most rewarding.
An Iowa native, Dr. Murray is passionate about community well-being, and looks forward to finding opportunities to support music and competitive soccer initiatives. Soccer is something he considers having changed his life in many ways – teaching him valuable lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. Outside of work, Dr. Murray enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and puppy, traveling, and enjoying all things soccer! If he was not a provider, he would have been a soccer coach – helping young players find their full potential both on and off the field.
